Accommodation Services
We provide three accommodation models; Shared Supported Accommodation, Lead Tenancies and Independent Living options. In all our accommodation settings we are committed to providing holistic support that is person centered and responsive to residents changing needs. We provide high quality community based supported accommodation that encourages development opportunities and client choice, enabling maximum integration with the community. We endeavour to make our houses real homes where residents can have fun and relax. Partnership is at the centre of the way we operate. Partnership with clients, families, service providers and the community. We believe in self determination, self advocacy and community inclusion. Shared Supported Accommodation provides staffed accommodation whenever the house is open, seven days a week, fifty two weeks a year. Staffing levels are determined according to the support needs of the residents. Fees for board and lodging are payable by residents. Residents in Lead Tenancies and those residing in Independent Living Units have access to limited needs based outreach support. Lead Tenancy residents also have informal support and supervision from a live in volunteer. Potential residents must be able to manage their money, travel independently, self administer medication and live with minimal support. To obtain a permanent placement in Nadrasca accommodation service, applicants must be registered with the Department of Human Services and their name placed on the Departments Service Needs Register. As vacancies arise the Department of Human Services convenes a selection panel and the application is assessed against compatibility and criteria attached to the vacancy.
