Alison Wright Chief Operations Officer Alison has considerable experience leading staff and programs through major sector reforms, including reinventing service offerings under the NDIS. This has enabled Alison to exercise her skills in strategy and advocacy platform development that leverages organisational value, securing opportunities for business growth and leading transformational change. Most recently Alison worked as a General Manager – Client and Community Services for Carers Victoria where she was responsible for the management of Carer’s Victoria’s state-wide service delivery (telephone support and referral line, NDIS advisory service, crisis support, short term casework, counselling, education services). Alison led an innovation and improvement program to support organisational growth, advised on and responded to the roll out of reforms and sector changes across disability, aged care, mental health, carers, palliative care and family violence sectors. Prior to this Alison worked for Alfred Health where she held the position of Manager – Aged Services Program and was responsible for strategic leadership and operational management of a suite of services for vulnerable frail older people and people with dementia and their families across the southern metropolitan region of Melbourne. Alison has a strong track record in identifying service gaps, improving organisational performance and leveraging business development opportunities that deliver on strategic intent. She has successfully secured and managed numerous business growth and improvement projects which have required sound organisational and project management practice, high level collaboration, diplomacy and tact in managing expectations and needs, and ability to promote and market competitive advantage and point of difference. When she has time to spare, Alison enjoys gardening, and cooking outrageous banquets for family and friends. She also loves to combine travel with a challenge, most recently hiking to Everest base camp with her eldest son, and travelling around Europe for eight months with her four kids.
